Jasmine Krause is an intern for the Sustainable Urban Food Initiative Project at SSRF. She is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Santa Cruz pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science. After college, she intends to pursue a graduate degree in hydrology and water management. She will be taking a gap year and volunteering with non-profit organizations that overlap with her interests in sustainable food systems and water security. Some of the places she wants to explore are Nepal, Indonesia, Amsterdam, Peru, and Vietnam. Backpacking through these areas and exploring these cultures has always been a dream of her
